Did you know that July 1st is Canada Day?
Canada officially became a country of its own on July 1, 1867. Today Canada consists of ten provinces and three territories with a total population of 35,344,962 people.

- Canada holds the record for the most gold medals ever won at the Winter Olympics, since taking 14 Golds at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
